Post Question: Did you get any fun knitting/crochet/crafting gifts for Christmas this year?? If so, what were they?

I appreciated my family and friends for contributing to my obsession of knitting and even helping me to start to branch out into one of my goals for 2023 to start to learn crochet. This year I was gifted (prices and availability based on when this post was originally posted):

  • Teamoy Knitting Bag - Large - Green - $40.99: This bag was gifted to me by my in-laws and will come in very handy when I travel on longer trips. I can have all of my projects and tools in one place and I absolutely LOVE the holes in the top to filter the yarn through. You should definitely check out the link to see all the awesome features that it contains.

  • Luxja Yarn Storage Bag - Trees - $19.99: This bag was gifted to me by my best friend. She did such a great job sending a considerate gift and this will come in handy when I make short trips or take it with me to various locations around town. It also contains the holes in the top for filtering the yarn through and I can't wait to start using it.

  • Glocusent LED Recharable Neck Lamp - Lilac Purple - $21.99: My husband gifted this one to me! I am very excited about having this on hand. It will come in handy for knitting when my husband is sleeping, on late night road trips, when the living room isn't light enough, etc...I'm looking forward to trying it out soon.

  • Coopay 63 Pcs Crochet Kit for Beginners - Hanging Black Lemon - $26.99: My parents gifted me this wonderful set! The one I'd originally identified on my list was no longer available and they found this one as an alternative. I will be making use of it within the week! I'm really looking forward to learning how to crochet since there are so many amazing patterns out there that use crochet. I just have to keep reminding myself that I need to start small.

  • Teomoy Crochet Hook Case - Bag Only - Owl - $13.99: My sister-in-law gifted this case to me. I knew that I wanted to buy a set of crochet hooks and then I'd need somewhere to put them. This will go perfectly with the Crochet for beginners that my parents got me and another hook set that I have coming in later this week.

  • Finger Yarn Guides - 8 pieces - $13.99: My sister-in-law also gifted me these great yarn guides. I am hoping to challenge myself to use more than one yarn color for a few projects this year. these will come in handy with that for sure!

  • The Knitter's Handy Book of Top-down Sweaters - $38: My husband thoughtfully gifted me with this book. One of my 2023 goals is to knit at least one sweater! This book will help me gain a few ideas to make that happen.

  • The Lopapeysa Sweater - $26.95: My husband gifted me this as well...definitely for the same reason as above, but also because we both have a fun interest in vikings and this definitely aligns with that as well. <3

  • Teamoy Knitting Needle Case - up to 14" needles - $18.99: My husband also provided me this awesome case to help hold all of my knitting needles. Since so many of them are very long, this will be perfect for them.

  • Knit Picks Double Point Mosaic Needles - 5" - Size US 0 - 3 - $36.99: My in-laws also gifted this great set to me. I love the colors and the various sizes will really come in hand for future projects. <3 This company has several fun mosaic colors and I definitely have them on future wish lists to add to the collections.

  • Lazy Susan Turn Table (not pictured) - $16.99: My in-laws also gifted me with a lazy Susan. I'd seen a really helpful video via Instagram that showed someone using a lazy Susan to unwind her yarn when she was knitting in the round with multiple colors. This will definitely come in handy for a few projects I have in mind for this year!

Stay tuned for me utilizing these throughout 2023. I'll be sure to post updates on my Instagram and FB pages as well as through blog posts.
