This was a fun project that turned out beautifully! It was a Christmas gift for my best friend and she absolutely loved it. The colors were perfect for her as she enjoys showing off her classic look with black as the primary color. It looked amazing on her!

The pattern was free through Ravlery and I am so thankful for that. It was an easy pattern overall, but created a beautiful look (tried to capture that below). I also loved that this was my first project I ever created the fringe for and I was fortunate enough to stumble on an Instagram reel that showed an easy way to make them. While that was probably the easiest part of the whole project, it really gave it a fun and unique look.

This yarn is SUPER SOFT! I will definitely use it for future projects without hesitation. On top of being super soft it is also very warm which is perfect for these colder days we've all been experiencing recently.

My lessons learned through this one was definitely how to create fringe easily. I wish I would have saved the video that taught me. But the pattern also explained it too. Basically you use a piece of cardboard that is the same length that you want your fringe to be. You wrap the yarn around it however many times you need to have enough fringe for your project. Then you cut ONE SIDE of the yarn and then you have all your pieces. After that you easily use a crochet hook to pull the yarn through and into a knot to secure them to your work. It was the thing I was most intimidated of and ended up being the easiest part of the whole project...you gotta love when that happens!
